Once, after a long evening/morning at a soirée in Islington, I opened my eyes after dozing slightly and proclaimed to my cohorts that I had developed the concept of a leather spanner. This has now become the stuff of legend within certain circles.</p>
<p>Today as a starting point I give you the rubber spanner. We all have to start somewhere and I feel this is as good a place as any. Enjoy.</p>
